Ashley Morishige

Ashley (CV) is a postdoctoral researcher in the PVLab. Her research focuses on understanding and engineering impurities in crystalline silicon during solar cell processing. She received her M.S. in Mechanical Engineering with the PVLab  in 2013 and her Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with the PVLab in 2016. She received her Bachelor of Engineering degree from Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College in 2011, where she researched global pastureland productivity and its implications for meeting the growing demands for sustainable fuel, food, feed, and fiber. As a graduate student, Ashley was a National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellow and was a recipient of the MIT School of Engineering SMA2 Fellowship. Outside of the lab, Ashley enjoys biking and listening to NPR.
